Mental wellbeing support in St Helens

If something is affecting how you feel, think, behave or enjoy your life, start with what is happening and what you want to change — not with trying to choose a technique.

When you know something needs to change

Support that starts with what you are actually experiencing

You may not know whether what you need is coaching, NLP, EFT, emotional release work or simply a conversation about where to start. Most people do not arrive thinking about a technique. They arrive because something is affecting how they feel, think, behave, work, relate to other people or enjoy their life.

If you are searching for mental health support in St Helens, it is important to know what kind of support I provide. The Mind Coaching Academy offers non-clinical coaching and change-focused mental wellbeing support. I do not diagnose or medically treat mental-health conditions.

My work focuses on helping you understand the patterns that are affecting you now, identify what you want to be different and use appropriate change-work approaches to help you work towards that outcome.

How support works

We start with what you want to be different

1. What is happening now?

We look at the situations, thoughts, emotions, triggers or behaviours that are causing difficulty and how they are affecting everyday life.

2. What do you want back?

That might be calm, confidence, motivation, sleep, enjoyment, connection, freedom from a particular reaction, or simply feeling more like yourself again.

3. What is the best way forward?

I may draw from NLP, EFT/Tapping, Time Line-style work, coaching, reframing, belief change, anchoring, parts work or selected hypnosis techniques where appropriate.

Explore support by what you are experiencing

Start with the problem, not the method

You do not need to know whether NLP, EFT, coaching or another approach is right for you. Start with what is happening and what you want to change.

The Mind Coaching Academy is based in the St Helens area and works primarily online, so support is available throughout the UK. Face-to-face work may also be possible where appropriate.

For people in St Helens, Merseyside and nearby areas, the Free Change Consultation gives you a straightforward way to discuss what is happening before deciding whether the work is suitable.

Important: if you are looking for diagnosis, medication, psychiatric care, crisis support or treatment for a clinical mental-health condition, a GP, NHS service or appropriately regulated clinical professional may be more suitable. My service is non-clinical and does not replace medical care.
